The Advanced Eye Examination is recommended for everyone but particularly for patients with the following:

Any new symptoms requiring investigation
Glaucoma/Family history of glaucoma
Cataractand importantly, patients who have recently had cataract surgery
Macular condition (ARMD)
Diabetes (even if you are already attending diabetic retinal screening clinic)
High Blood Pressure
Dry eye
Corneal conditions
Eyelid problems (Blepharitis)
